Conway Freight

My 20 year old daughter ordered a fiberglass body kit and it was delivered to her in August 2017. She saw the truck arrive and watched the delivery man take it out of the truck.

At that point, she asked the driver about why the box was open. She looked and pointed out scratches on the items inside the box. She helped him carry it to her apartment door and then said "thanks, I've got it from here". He said "no" and followed her inside, friendly-like so she tried not to freak out.

Once inside with no one else present, he told her not to write anything on the form. Instead to take it up with the company she purchased it from. Since he was 300 pounds (ish) and 6 feet tall, and she is 5'2", she did as she was told. Conway Freight's owner told me he didn't recognize the drivers name while another employee did recognize the name.

They refused to note on the forms after the fact that the customer claimed damage. Car-ID refused to pay to ship the parts back and the manufacturer says if we ship them back and they are damaged, we get nothing. So a college student is out $500. I suppose it could have been worse.

Who knows what might have happened to a young woman alone in her apartment with a very large man had she disagreed.

(We tried to resolve this for 4 months before giving up. Don't try calling- Conwar - their phone mostly rings and rings.)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! WE ALL SHOULD STOP USE THIS COMPANY!!!

they don't deserve to have a job . they came to deliver commercial counter table that I ordered from another company. First time that they promised to deliver between 11am- 2pm, they didn't show up & lied about that they came . the proof is I was there whole time and waited.

no one came to the door or knocked . also the guy showed up next day was telling me first , that his coworker came here yesterday and missed us. after we argued about another problem, he started to say that he came here yesterday and knocked the door.... Lied.

lol he told me another person came first.... lol Well, he asked me to sign the paper before I inspect the damages. them delivery guy said he can't carry the big heavy table inside because it's heavy and he is by him self ( so why you are working as a delivery guy if you can't ship the item to right place?) I told him, it can't stay out side all weekend and it's raining also. if he can't carry inside, how can I carry inside?

( I'm a little woman) That's why we paying for you guys isn't it? lol So I called this company front of him and claimed about this situation. but the lady who answered phone didn't help at all & even hang up on the phone while I'm talking. I told them it is an unusual situation with any other delivery company.

Very unprofessional customer service / delivery service . I felt that they don't appreciate for the customers at all through how they treated me.

I was so surprised to know that there is a service like this in this world and we still need to pay for it. but hope you can feed your family with that little longer :) Good luck Conway freight !!!!
